More from the Crane Festival...

Blog 2 of photos from the Festival of the Cranes:

I was sufficiently vague that I have no winners for my recent music trivia question, so here's a clue: the town was in Arizona, and we went to a street corner (that should make it pretty easy).

That's all for this edition, but I'll have one more post of pics from Socorro soon.

With the latest hint I’ll take a stab at it...the mention of a corner suggests the town was Winslow, and that you went to the northwest corner of Kinsley Avenue and Second Street. The band that made if famous was the Eagles with “Take It Easy,” authored by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey...as to the “why” I haven’t a clue beyond just seeing the spot, maybe to let the dogs run in Standin’ on the Corner Park? Or the remote connection would be to the band Mika (Connection #1?), with their song “Relax, Take It Easy” (Connection #2?). ...But, oh, methinks that’s reaching a bit too far.
